Gentle Whispers grew out of a quiet, unguarded moment — a figure lost in thought, hands gathering the fabric almost without awareness. The mood is soft and inward, where nothing dramatic is happening, yet everything is felt.
The embroidered fabric became just as important as the figure herself. It carries part of the story, echoing her stillness and adding its own quiet voice. I was drawn to the balance between those two things: presence and absence, weight and lightness, thought and touch.
This piece is about those moments we barely notice as they pass — the pause between thoughts, the softness of being alone with yourself.
This edition is available for 48 hours only. The release closes Friday 12 December at 5pm (UK time). The original painting is an oil work created in my studio and is now held in a private collection. This edition is the only opportunity to own this piece as a print.
